Face Stretch Playground
Upload a photo. Find a face. Pull it around like the Mario 64 title screen, then let go and watch it spring back.
No server, no upload, no account. Detection runs on-device when your browser supports it; your photo never leaves this page.
1. Pick a photo
Drop a photo here, paste one, or tap to choose.
A front-facing face in good light detects best. Profile shots, sunglasses, and tiny faces may miss — you can always draw the box yourself.
2. Pick the face
Looking for faces…
Tap a box to select it. Drag the selected box to move it, or drag its bottom-right corner to resize it.
3. Stretch it
Finding face parts…
1.0× × 1.0× · Biggest stretch yet: 1.0×
Whole-face mode: drag the face to stretch it. Same math as the jpl-dev avatar egg: 150px of drag is 1×, clamped to 0.5×–2×. Pull-parts mode: grab a dot (nose, chin, eyes, mouth, cheeks) or drag anywhere on the face to pull just that area. Hold stretch is on by default: a pull stays where you left it — drag again to pull further, and tap Reset face to go back to the original. Uncheck Hold stretch and pulls spring back on release, as before. Anchors are faint on hover by default, so they don’t cover the face; use the Anchors menu to show them always or hide them entirely.
